  • Email Address

  • Group Membership Information (e.g., which residential or organizational group you belong to)

  • Your preferences, as required to use the App

  • Activities that you create

  • RSVPs that you make to other People’s Activities

  • Comments that you make in relation to Activities and RSVPS

We do not collect location data, payment data, or behavioral tracking information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Email Address: Used for login, password recovery, and account verification.

  • Name: Displayed within the app to other members of your Group.

  • Group Affiliation: Used to determine which activities you can view, join, or manage.

  • Preferences, Activities created, RSVPd to, and Commented Upon: Used for making the app function

3. Group Administrator Verification

To confirm your eligibility for a Group:

  • We may share your name and email address with Group Administrators.

  • We may receive and use additional member verification details from the Group Administrator that are collected outside the app (e.g., unit number, lease confirmation).

Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing, analytics, or advertising purposes.

4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. However:

  • Deleting your account does not automatically delete your name or email address from AWT’s systems.

  • We retain this data for administrative purposes unless required by law to delete it.

If you reside in a region with specific data privacy laws (such as the EU, UK, or California), you may contact us to request access to or deletion of your data, in accordance with applicable regulations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties.

We only share your data with:

  • Group Administrators, solely for the purpose of verifying your membership or resolving user issues related to Group access.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to secure your personal data using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no system is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

The AWT app is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the App after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
