Anyone Want To LLC ("Anyone Want To," "we," "us") runs private, invite-only communities where members discover and plan activities together. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
It applies to the Anyone Want To mobile apps, our website at anyonewantto.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and the credentials you use to sign in.
- Profile information: details you add, such as a profile photo and the activity interests and notification preferences you set.
- Group and community information: the private group or community you belong to and your membership within it. Access is invite-only.
- Activity content: activities you create or join, RSVPs, comments, and related details you choose to share within your group.
- Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and push-notification tokens.
- Usage and diagnostics: how you interact with the Service, along with crash reports and error logs that help us keep the app working.
We collect this information when you create an account, set up your profile, use the Service, or contact us for support. We do not sell your personal information.
How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
- Show you activities and plans relevant to your group and interests.
- Send you notifications about activities, RSVPs, and updates you have opted into.
- Verify group membership and keep communities invite-only and secure.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- Monitor, debug, and improve performance, reliability, and safety.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How your information is shared
- Within your group: your name, profile, and the activities and RSVPs you post are visible to other members of your private group, so you can plan together.
- Service providers: we use trusted vendors to run the Service, including Google Firebase (authentication and messaging), OneSignal (push notifications), Sentry (error and crash monitoring), and our email-delivery provider. They may process your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Anyone Want To.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Push notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications about activities and updates in your group. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app's preferences or in your device settings.
Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your account and associated personal data, except information we are required to retain for legal or operational reasons. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your profile and preferences in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account, email help@anyonewantto.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
